Welcome to South Whidbey Island Masters (SWIM) Our mission is to provide instruction, training and motivation to athletes age 18 and older. We have athletes who range in ability from beginner to national qualifier. Workouts are designed with all abilities in mind.
Joining Requirements: SWIM participants must be able to swim freestyle (crawl stroke) the length of the pool (25 yards) with side breathing.
- Fun and Friends: We are a great group of people who have a lot of fun together. Masters have the opportunity to compete in swim meets, open water swims, and post-meet outings.
- Fitness: Swimming is a great way to develop endurance and strength.
- Improved Swimming: Our coaches emphasize proper stroke technique along with interval training which is known to improve one’s level of fitness and stroke efficiency making you a faster swimmer.
MORNING SESSIONS – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday @ 5:20AM – 6:30AM
EVENING SESSIONS – Tuesday and Thursday @ 6:45PM – 7:45PM

How to Join: Please drop in on any of our scheduled practice times to observe or participate (your first session is always free). Talk to one of our SWIM coaches, Kristi Eager or John de Wit. They will gladly answer all of your questions. When you decide Masters is for you, stop by the Front Desk to complete your registration paperwork and pay the appropriate fee.
